Roles & Responsibilities:

• To ensure retention of existing customers and maximize revenue to exceed AOP targets.

Major Activities

• Product
  o Designing a Product Strategy and Roadmap
  o Innovative product offerings to create product differentiation and advantage over competition.
  o Designing new products to meet changing customer demands.
  o Research on customer requirements to identify niche segments and target them through specific product offerings.
  o Bundled VAS with tariff plans.
• Price
  o Ensure correct plan mix for new acquisitions to achieve ARPU (Average Revenue Per User) objectives.
  o Selling of Value Added Services at the time of sale to maximize ARPU.
• Promotion
  o Periodic Schemes and Offers to boost acquisition numbers
  o Co-ordination with Alliances team to acquire alliance partner customers on Broadband
  o Co-ordinate with the Communications team to promote the product from an acquisition perspective – Advertising both mass media and below the line, roadshows, internal communication, etc.
• Place
  o Different policies and incentives for different types of Channel partners such as DSA, Retail, Direct Sales Team, etc.
  o City specific tariffs basis differential needs, network considerations, company objectives, etc.
• People
  o Extensive interactions with the HO and Regional sales teams, Finance, Customer Service, Communications, Legal, Network, IT, etc.

Key Skills:

• 2-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in telecom or any other service industry.
• Experience can be in marketing / product management
• A post graduate degree in business management and engineering (preferably in Electronics and Telecommunications) from Premier institute.
• Should have keen interest in understanding consumer behavior, technology trends, understanding of network, IT systems, etc.
• Telecom/ Service Industry domain expertise.
• Strong interpersonal skills, relationship management abilities, team building

• Revenue Enhancement from existing users though
  o ARPU (Average Revenue per User per month) increase initiatives
  o Plan Upgrade initiatives to achieve optimum plan mix
  o Drive penetration and usage of value added services
  o Practices such as Fair Usage Policies, Cyber Café plans, etc.
• Retention of existing customers through
  o Churn control initiatives
  o Promote services and plans that ensure customer stickiness
  o Tight controls arresting complaints coming from process gaps, minimizing repeat complaints, etc.
  o Pro-active churn prediction and timely measures to control.
• Coordination – across functions such as Customer Service, Finance, Network, Communication, Legal, Content & regions
• Product strategy & roadmap
• New initiatives & projects

Key Skills:
