Job Description:
The Bid Manager will work on large and strategic opportunities, and will drive the opportunity from initiation phase to customer decision phase (win/loss). The position will be responsible for making the proposal to customer by working in a cross-functional team of technical specialists, and Strategic Sales team. The whole cycle from initiation to decision may include understanding customer requirements, clarifications, technical solution design, pricing, presentation and finally decision.
Role and Responsibilities:
- About 10-12 years of experience in the IT Industry
- Extensive Pre-sales technical consulting experience with IT Products / services
- Familiar with a broad range of solutions covering hardware, systems sw, databases, networking, security, services, applications
- Experience on designing solutions and working on proposals, preferably involving comprehensive IT solutions covering products and services
- Experience of working on large, complex deals
- Some level of hands-on experience required
- Good Presentation and communication skills
- Good understanding of pricing and commercial aspects
- Project Management experience desirable
- Broad-level understanding of IT solutions, support & services and Industry trends
- Strong team player and able to work in cross-functional teams
- Effective leadership and coordination skills
- Passion and Positive Attitude for winning
