Manager TIS for Server Storage Presales

Roles and Responsibilities

You will be responsible for architecting solutions around Server, Storage & Backup and Virtualization technologies.
Workshops should be conducted for strategic clients on a periodic basis.
Drive presales engagement along with Practice Sales & Account Management teams for all opportunities in Karnataka & Kerala.
Ensure technically and commercially viable solutions are proposed. Involve in Proof of Concept around niche technologies such as Virtualization, Data Deduplication, Archival etc.
Architect solutions for complex bids involving multiple vendors and technologies. Track and drive solution-o riented sales closures.
Ensure accurate scope of work sign-off and handover to implementation team. Drive technical enablement of practice sales and account management teams on a periodic basis.

Skills and Job Requirements

Should have strong understanding of fundamentals of Servers, Storage, Backup and Virtualization technologies.
Should preferably have had hands-on experience on basic deployment of compute & storage te chnologies, to be able to correlate solution with real-world deployment and operational challenges. Should have presales exposure on NetApp, EMC, HP, Sun, IBM, VMware, Symantec technologies.
Should have knowledge on architecting solutions around most of the mentioned technologies.
Should be able to do competitive comparison between technologies.
Should have the drive to work in a challenging envi ronment with sales team to drive solution-oriented sales closures.
