Roles and Responsibilities
• Project manage complex sales opportunities
• Analyze customer RFP/requirements documents
• Track milestones and key next steps for SAP to competitively compete
• Organize/facilitate/coordinate opportunity resources to ensure synergistic execution.
• Creating the Proposal template and list of deliverable, adhering to customer requirements and deadlines
• Plan and manage all bid activities against agreed timescales and monitor the ongoing bid status.
• Facilitate and provide input to qualification of opportunity
• Master of SAP policies and procedure, delivers proposals that follow SAP global operational goals and guidelines
• Ensuring risk identification and mitigation plan is produced
• Ensuring financial & legal approvals are obtained.
• Manage pricing in line with Business unit expectations and guidelines
• Ensuring regular, clear communication with the team on ongoing bid status
• Escalate issues as necessary
• Engage and communicate with SAP external partners and 3rd party contractors
• Ensure key messages are articulated within the proposal.
• Manage content, quality reviews and final sign-off of proposal.
• Coordinating proposal production
• Conducting proposal quality reviews (white reviews, pink reviews, red reviews and post bid reviews)
Skill Required:
He/she has a wide [but not deep] knowledge of IT products and services and actively contributes to strategy and solution development facilitating and mediating where necessary
• The ideal candidate will be a self starter, exhibit strong leadership skills, a proven track record of creating winning bids.
• Minimum of 8 - 12 years of experience in an enterprise software sales/operations environment
• Strong analytical, process and leadership skills
• Ability to establish trust with the sales organization at all levels
• MBA from a top tier university.
